Who we are

Wedding Collective is the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact us at privacy@weddingcollective.co.uk.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, password), couple planning details you choose to add (wedding date, location, guest numbers, budget, checklist and notes), supplier business details (business name, contact details, images, services and pricing), messages and enquiries sent through the platform, billing details processed by our payment provider, and basic usage analytics such as page and profile views.

Why we use it

To create and secure your account, show supplier profiles, deliver enquiries and messages, provide the planning tools, take membership payments, moderate reviews, prevent fraud and improve the service. Our legal bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and, for optional marketing and non-essential cookies, your consent.

Who we share it with

When you contact a supplier, the details in your enquiry are shared with that supplier. We also use trusted processors for hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, payments and analytics. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active, and afterwards only where we must — for example financial records kept for statutory periods. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email us and we’ll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Security

Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with row-level access controls so that couples and suppliers only ever see their own information.
